1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using Code Cleaner, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the add-on.

2. What the add-on does

Code Cleaner helps you paste or select code in Google Docs, clean whitespace, and insert a formatted code block (optionally with syntax highlighting).

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The content you paste/select and insert into documents.
• Ensuring you have rights to use any code/content you process.

4. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use the add-on to violate laws or third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the add-on or Google services.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to Code Cleaner (software, branding, UI). You retain all rights to your content.

6. Disclaimers

Code Cleaner is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee perfect language detection, or that formatting will be identical across all Docs environments or future Google updates.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vertex Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from use of the add-on.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
